San Gennaro Foundation
The San Gennaro Foundation of Virginia is a non-profit organization established to uphold the principles of San "Saint" Gennaro, the patron saint of Naples, Italy who worked tirelessly throughout his life to help people in need through acts of generosity and goodwill that define the Italian spirit.
Who We Are
The Board of Directors of the San Gennaro Foundation of Virginia is made up of professional people who have a diverse background that have been active and involved in running Italian festivals and charitable activities within the Italian community of Northern Virginia for many years.
Education Assistance and Scholarships
The organization provides assistance to local school and educational organizations in support of the Italian language by providing grants in aid and scholarships.

Grants to Charitable Organzations
The San Gennaro Foundation provides grants to individuals and organization on a need basis within the National Capital area and Virginia through direct gifting and grants. The San Gennaro Foundation provides grants to various religious, charitable and scientific organizations which include such organizations as the Alzheimer's Association, American Cancer Society, Armed Forces Relief Trust, St. Coletta of Greater Washington, Inc., and The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
